The duopoly enjoyed by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is being challenged by Rev. Christian Kwabena Andrew, popularly known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom.
Kyiri Abosom looks forward to ending the strangle hold both parties have held over the Ghanaian electorates and to achieve that, he founded the Ghana Union Movement (GUM).
And the Electoral Commission(EC) on Thursday, November 21, 2019, presented a final certificate to Osofo Kyiri Abosom’s Ghana Union Movement (GUM) at the Commission’s head office in the capital, Accra.
The move sealed GUM’s participation in the upcoming 2020 elections as they successfully join Ghana’s electoral train for a showdown next year.
“After the Reggae, play the blues”…..yeah….after the formation of a political party comes the arduous task of canvassing for supporters/votes.
Osofo Kyiri Abosom’s GUM will definitely not need worry their heads over this particular GUM ‘fanatic’ who displayed his love for the party by riding in a ‘customized GUM bicycle” – it’s definitely one vote gained for GUM!!
