Adomaa Beats Feli Nuna, Nii Funny & Others To Win VGMA’s 2016 Unsung Artist

Ghanaian Afro-Jazz Singer Adomaa has won the unsung category at Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2016.

Adomaa who was competing with fellow rising stars Nii Funny, Feli Nuna, Perez, Ebony Reigns, and WanO was declared winner of the unsung category which was aired live on Rythmz  on Ghone TV, hosted by Berla Mundi.
She emerged winner with 65% of the total votes cast by the Board and the general public and compiled by KPMG.
Adomaa now secures a spot to perform alongside big shots such as Sarkodie, Efya, Bisa KDei, Stonebwoy and several others to perform on the 7th of May 2016 at the Accra International Conference Centre.

The VGMA’s unsung category seeks to honour artists who graced the musical year with great songs, videos and performances but however were not given the celebration due them.

Adomaa is widely known for recording mashups of various hit Ghanaian songs including Stonebwoy’s “Baafira” and others.

Congratulations to her.
