Barimah Amoaning Samuel Joins World World Bank’s IFC Engagement Programme

Ghanaian blogger and radio personality Barimah Amoaning Samuel has been selected as a participant on training on innovations in youth engagement by the IFC—a sister organization of the World Bank and member of the World Bank Group, is the largest global development institution focused exclusively on the private sector in developing countries.

The training is an opportunity for the organization to bring together a group of young media professionals from across the continent, and together tackle the issues of how infrastructure and natural resource companies can better engage young people, through new media.

The objective of the week is to give them exposure and deepen their skills on how large infrastructure, Oil, Gas and Mining companies can use social media to engage with young people.

It is to help advance the work they are already doing in this field and to equip them with new skills that can position them to do other things including being a resource to any company or entity seeking to ideas on how to better engage with young people.

 The Chief Blogger posted on his Facebook platform @ Barimah Samuel Amoaning, expresses his delight and participation of the program. 

Barimah Amoaning Samuel is a Ghanaian Blogger, Radio personality and professional digital advertiser. Samuel’s radio show focuses on youth entrepreneurship, technology and social issues.

He founded Digital Training Ghana Programme to train young Ghanaians to equip themselves with Modern Digital Advertising skills.

As an influencer he has had the opportunity to speak and partner with social enterprise events like Africa Dialogue 2017, Tedx Accra, Social Media Week Accra, Verna Changing Lives and many others.

He believes in the new Africa that can be made possible through technology and digitalization.
