‘Forgotten’ Ghanaian highlife artiste, KK Fosu has revealed that had it not been for poverty, he would have pursued his academics to a higher level and enjoyed a better life.

According to the veteran musician, he was a brilliant student but the fact that he could not fend for himself left him with no choice than to quit schooling in order to make a living elsewhere.

He revealed that he had to terminate the idea of schooling and was left with no choice than to work as a Barber in places such as Korle Gono in order to make ends meet.
KK Fosu who was speaking on Accra-based Happy FM said “I dropped out of school in the first year of senior high school. I was a brilliant student but I had to leave school because I was poor”.
