During the final games of most football competitions, big time musicians are hired to perform in the closing ceremony…….and Legon Cities FC might just have seen the light and are looking forward to tapping into that “annointing”. Though on a personal level, i feel that football in itself should be able to attract the needed fans, it’s not really a step in the wrong direction if fans are treated to some rounds of musical interludes before the game commences as a means of bringing back the love, especially when you consider the trauma Ghana’s football has been through in the past year or so!
Legon Cities F.C made a triumphant entry into Dansoman when they played their first ever Premier League match against Liberty Professionals. The convoy of luxurious cars which preceded Legon Cities F.C’s stylish team bus was a sight which left many spell bound.

And as they lock horns with the Porcupine Warriors, Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Friday December 3rd at 6pm, Legon Cities FC has gone “one step ahead” of all other Premier League clubs as they’ve announced that Shatta Wale will be performing live! So it’s gonna be fun, on and off the pitch!
Imagine the scenes if Legon Cities FC are able to put Kumasi Asante Kotoko to the sword!
