COVID-19: Jackie Appiah Donates To Market Women and The Needy In Accra

Celebrated actress Jackie Appiah as part of her philanthropic contributions has donated some items to the needy and market women in Accra amidst the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The versatile actress on Friday March 27, donated items including rice, hand sanitizers, gloves, face masks, hand washing soaps , tissues, wipes, and Veronica buckets to the needy and market women at the Texpo Market in Spintex- Accra.

She also used the opportunity to educate them on the need to practice social distancing and also wash their hands frequently, as instructed by W.H.O as a preventive measure against COVID-19.

“Try to wash your hands every two hours. Try as much as possible to keep your hands off your face, It’s very dangerous” she noted.
