Farmers’ Day Blues: Proud Farmer, John Dumelo Urges The Youth To Get Involved In Agriculture
The 6th of December is set aside in Ghana to say “ayekoo” to farmers in the country who do their best to ensure that food is always on our table.
“The man of many colors”, John Dumelo has also left an inspiring message to the youth. The message? “Get involved in Agriculture”.
Via a Facebook post, Dumelo explained that farming isn’t an “easy” venture however it’s fruits are extremely rewarding.
Taking notice of the desire of today’s youth to “get rich quick”, Dumelo advised that farming doesn’t provide a “get rich quick” avenue but rather, it provides a sure path to progressive/ steady wealth.
Dumelo also added two secrets of being a successful farmer; choosing what and when one sows very carefully.
