Ghana Police Service Secures Restraining Order Banning NDC From Further Protests In Accra

The Accra Regional Police Command has secured a restraining order against the National Democratic Congress (NDC), from embarking on further protests and demonstrations in Accra.

A statement released today by the Regional Public Affairs Unit of the Ghana Police Service prohibited all NDC intended protests from Sunday 20th December 2020 to 10th January 2021.

The statement explained that the request by the NDC to protest daily in all the constituencies in Accra cannot be met due to other security operations planned for the festive season among other things.
