Pheeew!!!!!! Anas Aremeyaw Anas has indeed shaken the very foundation of Ghanaian football. In the government’s quest to clean up the mess created by Mr. Nyantakyi and his cohorts, an interim committee to manage Ghana football has been set-up.

Yesterday, the 12th of June 2018, the Attorney General and Minister for Justice, Mrs. Gloria Akuffo filed a suit to place a ten-day interim injunction for an order restraining the members, directors and officials of the GFA from exercising such powers as are ordinarily conferred on them by the provisions of the Companies Act[Act 179], the GFA statutes and other relevant instruments, particularly leading to the organization of football matches and appointment of executives and other officials, the High Court, Commercial Division which was granted.

In the meantime, the government of Ghana has decided to set up an Interim Management Committee [IMC] to oversee the administration of football and other related matters in Ghana. The five-member committee comprises of:
Dr. Kofi Amoah – Chairperson
Mr. Cudjoe Fianoo – Member∕Secretary
Mr. Abedi Pele – Member
Rev. Osei Kofi – Member
Mrs. Eva Okyere – Member

As acknowledgement for his efforts to ensure the prosperity of Ghana football, Mr. Dan Kweku Yeboah of Peace FM fame will serve as the spokesperson for this Interim Management Committee.
