I Was Told To Act Like I Was In USA In The 90s – Adom FM’s Akumaa Mama Zimbi Remembers Past

Award winning TV and radio broadcaster, women’s rights activist, sexologist and once an actress, Akumaa Mama Zimbi, shares a very humorous experience of her days on screens as an actress in Osofo Dadzie and Cantata of old.

In a Facebook post meant to crack her fans up, praise God and appreciate life, the Krobo sex doctor illustrates how she was instructed by a director as far back the 90s, to act as if she is in the States – when actually her location was in GBC studio in Accra – Kanda to be precise.

In other words, she was asked to speak and act up with the props on set to make the viewer believe she’s in the States – that is filmmaking; a world of make-believe.
