Mr. Abdul Rahman contests for Ayawaso North seat

Mr. Abdul Jalil Abdul Rahman, popularly known as “Awudu” picked forms earlier in the month of September to contest for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) November primaries in Ayawaso North constituency.

The young Mp aspirant is the senior accountant for Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Co. Ltd (BOST), he’s also an accountant lecturer for Kings university and the director of Ultimate Business college (U.B.C), 12231659_952747908130602_912197637_na second cycle institution which was established with the aim of helping young but needy students in the constituency, apart from that the school also runs remedial classes for selected failed WASSCE students at a moderate price to enable young students better their grades.

Mr. Abdul Jalil who has lived in the constituency all his life knows the problems hindering the development of the constituency, a major reason why he is contesting, he has already been of much in terms of finance, health and education to young and old people in the constituency, he has vowed to continue the good work he has done so far in the constituency and also bring a lot of improvements and development to the constituency if voted into power.

The aspiring Mp has stated in his manifesto to introduce “community banking”, a banking program to provide loan facilities to support small scale business men and women. He has promised to also established a “Health for all” program that would require a cleanup exercise and health screening for members of the constituency twice every month, as well as an aged support program that would allow the aged to be supported monthly in basic necessities, especially health.

The aspiring MP also said he has plans to develop a youth empowerment program to support and encourage the youth who have special interest in sports especially football to achieve their dreams.

Mr. Awudu is placed number “1” on the voting sheet for aspiring Ayawaso North Mps, he will face competition from 4 other aspirants which includes the incumbent Mp Dr. Mustapha Ahmed. The primaries will take place on Saturday the 21st November at selected party centers…
