NEWS IN: Ghanaian RNB Artist CHASE Angry At Media For Saying He’s Not Getting Shine – Pours Out His Frustration

Online entertainment portal, www.entertainmentgh.com, on 17th Jan, 2017, outlined very good Ghanaian R&B artists who are not attaining the necessary recognition as they did years ago.

On top of their list was Ghanaian R&B musician Chase; others: Ded Buddy, Chemphe, Riche, and Fritz. Clearly, the article was and is meant to sympathize with all the brilliant Ghanaian R&B music talents who are not getting shine in the industry. One can even term it a call for publicity for these talents.

In the case of Chase, the report noted:

“Fine features, fine voice and some fine singles, but all have not been enough for Chase to achieve recognition, respect and build a massive following in the industry over the years. He has always sounded frustrated over what he calls – a lack of support for talented folks like himself. Not the kind to easily give up, Chase released ‘Roll Up’ last year, which received virtually no airplay. The same artist is responsible for the banging hits – Lonely, Fire, Boozeman Anthem, Marry Me Tonight and Pulling Me Down.”

Perhaps, due to misunderstanding of the theme or objective of the write up, infuriated Chase has come out loudly – issued series of chilly words on Twitter. Read all his comments:

From his posts, it’s obvious he is no longer living in Ghana – and one of the reasons is the fact that he is not getting the love and attention on his own soil – exactly the concern the report sought to address or bring to light.

Fianko Bossman popularly known as Chase, a Ghanaian based recording artist and songwriter, was born on 24th June in Hackney Town, London. He is a prolific songwriter and has written songs for numerous Ghanaian superstars including Becca, D-Black, Jane of “Stars of the Future” fame, Mimi of “Big Brother Africa” fame, Adina of Stars of the Future” fame and Richie of Lynx Entertainment.
