Popularly known by his stage name Sarkodie, Michael Owusu Addo is a well established Ghanaian hip hop artist whose music is without doubt really amazing.
Born on 10th July 1988. He was born in a place called Tema in Ghana and he is both a hiphop and hiplife artist. He got the BET award for the best international act and he also got nominated for the award again in 2014. He got into recognition after he released his first album back in 2009.
The album was called Makye. Sarkodie has had other several awards including the world music awards, independent music awards and other awards in Ghana. In 2014, he attained the best rap act and was actually named as the 8th most profitable artist in the whole of Africa in 2013.
