Tema-based duo, R2bees says hardly would they call on any publicist to publish a story on their behalf in the name of hype.
The group said they believe in producing good songs that will sell themselves hence they refrain from relying on bloggers to push their content.
Speaking on Joy FM’s Cosmopolitan Mix show with Doreen Andoh on Friday, member of the group, Omar Sterling said “I would never send you a song to post for me. [The reason is] I trust the music so much and I believe it will do just right.
“I don’t think we went through hardships because we started our record label. We don’t know people. We don’t get a lot of good press. We don’t care about all these things. We believe in our music. It’s all about the fans. It’s always been all hands-on board if we are to give gratitude to anyone.”
R2bees are set to launch their new “Site 15” album early next year.
“We’ve pushed our new album to next year because we just dropped the single, “Beautiful”. We worked on it for three years,” Omar said.
