#Year Of Return: Ludacris Arrives In Ghana, Visits The Cape Coast Castle

Ghana’s just about “exploding” as American rapper and actor Ludacris has arrived in Ghana – following the footsteps of Rick Ross and other celebrities in the diaspora who have also been in the country.

After spending time with his family in Gabon during the Christmas festivities, Ludacris thought it wise to use the opportunity to visit Ghana.

Christopher Brian Bridges known professionally as Ludacris, is an American rapper, actor, philanthropist and enterpreneur. Ludacris is the founder of Disturbing Tha Peace, a music label. Ludacris has won the Screen Actors Guild, Critic’s Choice, MTV, and 3 Grammy Awards. Along with fellow Atlanta-based rappers Big Boi and André 3000 of OutKast, Ludacris was one of the first and most influential “Dirty South” rappers to achieve mainstream success during the early 2000s. In 2014, Ludacris was featured in Forbes list titled “Hip-Hop Cash Kings”, as he earned $8 million. Ludacris also starred in the popular action movie, Fast And Furious.

He has already visited the Cape Coast Castle and has got a lot of people loving him the more!

On the back of the T-Shirt he wore were the words, ” I am not an African because I was born in Africa. I am an African because Africa is born in me. I have returned”.
