You Won’t Believe How Much Profit Tales Of Nazir Movie Has Made So Far In Ghana Premiers

Ghana’s favorite and award winning online animated series Tales of Nazir which casted the likes of John Dumelo, D-black, Wanlov Da Kubolor, Stone Bwoy, Chris Attoh, Okra Tom Dawidi, Sarkodie and many more in its first ever history making animated movie had its first premier on 2nd January 2016. The movie which was premiered at the Accra Silverbird cinemas, West hills mall and Accra mall on two consecutive days, Saturday & Sunday, saw patrons trooping in to the venue to catch a glimpse of the first ever Ghanaian Blockbuster Animated series.

The movie was subsequently premiered in other parts of Ghana including Kumasi, Takoradi and Cape Coast.

In an exclusive interview with Louis Appiah, creator of the Nazir series, the movie which was budgeted at GHs25,000 has raked a whooping GHs35,000 in its premiers in Ghana so far.

Which means a total of GHs10,000 profit was made from the premiers and paid online streaming in Ghana only, which is really huge. Wish I was a movie producer lol!

According to him, the movie will be premiered later in the year in Brescia, Italy on 23rd April 2016.

The Movie is a narrative by the lead character ‘Nazir’ about his dramatic life experiences he tends to encounter all the time.
