Ghanaian Gospel musician Patience Nyarko has become the subject of attack and mockery on social media.
The musician who was once loved by many has now been held in disdain by some Ghanaians who feel she was unfair to her colleague musician Joe Mettle.
This comes after Patience stated in a recent interview that Joe Mettle does not even write most of his songs; and that a lot of his songs are sampled from old Pentecost and Methodist music.
The Gospel musician stated emphatically on Onua FM that Joe Mettle doesn’t deserve the big accolades he’s being given, and that most of his songs are old Pentecost and Methodist music.
She added that it is not true that Joe is the only artiste in Ghana who has international appeal.
However, the last straw to break the camel’s back on this issue was when Patience walked out of an interview after the reporter asked her if Joe Mettle’s ‘Bo Noo Ni’ song was a Methodist or Pentecostal song.
Her actions did not go down well with most music lovers who have taken to her social media pages to attack her, with some even using unprintable words on her.
