YouTube Deletes Mr Drew ft Stonebwoy’s Music Video Over Copyright Claims

Highly Spiritual Music signee, Mr Drew, has been hit with a copyright claim on his music video for “Eat” which was released earlier on Youtube.

The music video which had garnered over 100,000 views in 3 days was deleted from the video sharing platform by the copyright holder Rotimi.

Apparently, Mr Drew’s “EAT” was a sampled version of POWER star, Rotimi’s “Love Riddim”, a popular single from his ‘Walk With Me’ album released in July 2019.

YouTube struck the video down after Rotimi’s record label, EMPIRE made copyright claims to the content.

We do not know if the actor will take further action against him in the form of lawsuits — but what we do know is that content theft is a serious offense and things won’t look pretty for him.
